From Il Casino, the historic village of Proceno is only about a 10-minute walk away. A short stroll takes you up into the medieval village with its narrow lanes, old stone houses and cosy squares.
The impressive Rocca di Proceno towers above the village. There is a bar for an espresso or aperitivo, while the Castello with its enoteca and restaurant is perfect for a special evening.

Via Francigena
The historic Via Francigena passes right by Il Casino. You can set off on foot from the door and discover the unspoilt landscape of the Tuscia – through woods and gentle hills and past small medieval villages. For centuries the Via Francigena has connected places, landscapes and stories.
